Welcome to our book clubs!

Bremen Public Library hosts six adult book clubs. Currently, we have two in the afternoon and two in the evening, with two more in the evening starting in 2023. If you would like to join any of these clubs, they are listed below with their times and days of the month, so you can decide which one works best for you.

Never been part of a book discussion club? We like to say it's a little like high school English class without all the pesky homework and tests. We talk about the themes, conflicts, and characters of the chosen novel each month. We also laugh a lot and eat a little. We post a brief summary of our discussion and our book ratings here if you want to get a taste for what we've been talking about lately.

Members of the clubs never have to worry about hunting down the title of the club's chosen book. The library provides each member of the club a copy of the book that we have either ordered through interlibrary loan or purchased with a grant from our Friends of the Library organization. When a club member arrives at the discussion, the book for next month's discussion will be available for that patron to take home for the entire month. If members are unable to come to a certain discussion, the next book will be waiting for them at the adult circulation desk the next time they're in the library.

Ready to get started? Choose from a club below and call the library if you have more questions or would like to get registered!

Overbooked: First Monday of each month from 6:30 - 7:30 PM

Night Owls: Second Monday of each month from 7:00 - 8:00 PM

Young Soul Readers: Third Monday of each month from 6:30 - 7:30 PM

Once Upon a Crime: First Tuesday of each month from 6:30 - 7:30 PM

Questers: Second Wednesday of each month from 2:00 - 3:00 PM

Readers: Third Wednesday of each month from 2:15 - 3:15 PM

A brief description of each of these clubs can be found at https://www.bremen.lib.in.us/book-clubs/

Hope to see you soon!
